Conferences and Meetings
For a small seminar or a large conference, the Centre offers an excellent working environment. We have welcomed schools and colleges, local businesses, Primary Care Trusts and Local Authorities, who enjoy the Center’s flexible room arrangements and tranquil and easy to get to location.
The Centre has disabled access, a hearing loop.
Kitchen facilities and AV equipment is included in the hire.

Celebrations
Many people choose the Centre for parties & celebrations. It may be a birthday party for a four year old, a forty year old or a fortieth wedding anniversary. It may be a wedding reception enjoying all the lovely rooms and the spectacular views.

Activities
The Centre is used for a wide range of activities – yoga and karate classes, toddler groups, art classes, fitness sessions and The Guides, for example.
The Centre is also a venue for plays, films, musical concerts and talks organised by the wide community.

Friends of the Centre
The Friends of the Centre have a varied and interesting programme of events throughout the year to raise much needed funds for the upkeep of the Centre. These have recently included musical recitals, quiz nights, a cabaret evening, a manic evening with Ian McMillan and Tony Husband, and an equally funny visit from the Lip Service duo.
